Amazon juga meminta periode khusus 18 bulan di mana penulis tidak bisa memasarkan ide mereka ke studio film lain.

Bila film cukup berhasil menghasilkan lebih dari 70 juta dolar di "box office" Amerika Serikat, penulis akan mendapat 400.000 dolar sebagai bonus.

Perusahaan sudah mengundang para pengguna untuk mengumpulkan baik itu naskah atau bagian kasar dari film mereka melalui situs Amazon Studios.

Satu panel pakar industri, termasuk sutradara, produser dan penulis naskah akan menilai pendapat untuk menemukan siapa yang mereka percaya bisa hidup secara komersial.

Bos Toyota Tunggangi Tesla Roadster

Mendapatkan hadiah mobil balap, sontak Toyoda langsung menjajalnya. Keunikan dari mobil cabriolet dua pintu ini tak hanya terletak pada tenaga listrik dan teknologi yang ramah lingkungan, tetapi juga inisial plat nomor kendaraan.

“Saya sangat menyukainya,” kata Toyoda yang gemar hobi balap ini.

Plat nomor kendaraan ini 520, yang memiliki arti Mei tanggal 20. Kenapa dengan 20 Mei? Tanggal itu merupakan hari penandatanganan perjanjian kerja sama pembangunan mobil listrik antara Toyota dan Tesla.

Dalam kerja sama ini, Toyota telah menggelontorkan dana pembelian saham milik Tesla sebesar US$50 juta.

Pembangunan di pabrik perakitan yang berlokasi di Palo Alto, California ini menghasilkan RAV4 yang bertenaga listrik. Menurut rencana mini SUV ini akan mulai dipasarkan pada 2012 di Amerika Utara.
